I am an award-winning, Montreal and LA-based Cinematographer, world traveler, father, husband, Buddhist and peace activist. Born and raised in a bilingual family, in cosmopolitain Montreal instilled in me an appreciation for multicultural perspectives and heavily influenced my approach to visual storytelling, promoting and advocating diversity. I moved to Los Angeles to attend film school and graduated with an MFA in Cinematography from the prestigious American Film Institute (AFI).
No great film is ever made alone and I cherish the opportunity to collaborate with directors, producers and writers and help them bring their vision to fruition on the screen within their budget. My filmic collaborations have been in festivals all over the world, including London, Toronto, Hawaii, New York and Los Angeles and have garnered multiple Best Film, Best Directing and Best Cinematography awards.
I love to shoot in many formats and cameras, including 35mm, 16mm, Red, Alexa, Sony F55, Fs7, a7S, Canon C300, 5D MkIII, GoPro and more.
I hold Canadian, American and Irish (EU) citizenships and can work as a local in many places, including Los Angeles, NY, Vancouver, Montreal, Toronto, Dublin, Portland, Philadelphia, Miami, Phoenix, Seattle and more.
